Indications Clonozepam
Small and large forms of epilepsy in adults and children,
increased muscle tone, insomnia, in patients with organic brain damage.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity, disruption of the liver, kidneys, myasthenia, pregnancy.
Acute alcohol poisoning psychotropic drugs, drug addiction, chronic alcoholism.
Clonozepam Side effect
visual impairment, nystagmus, side hemiparesis, depression, palpitation, myasthenia, mialgia,
indigestion, disruption of the liver, kidneys, anorexia, respiratory depression, the delay of urine,
alopecia, anemia, agranulocytosis, psychotic reaction, short-term memory violation.
Overdosage
Symptoms of overdose Clonozepam requiring medical attention: prolonged confusion, reduced reflexes,
expressed drowsiness, trembling, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, expressed weakness.
Treatment: should cause vomiting, stomach wash, to appoint the interior of activated carbon.
When respiratory depression should appoint oxygen.
Dosage Clonozepam
Inside. Epilepsy: Initial dose for adults-1, 5mg/day 3 admission,
with a gradual increase to 4-8mg/day 3-4 reception.
The maximum daily dose, 20mg. Children starting dose 1mg/day divided by 2 admission,
with a gradual increase in dose in children under 5 years 1-3mg/day, from 5 to 12 years 3-6mg/day.
The maximum daily dose-0, 2mg/kg.
Cautions
With caution appoint patients, occupations that require rapid response and focus. During the treatment of
nursing mothers should stop breast-feeding.
